Thanks for stopping by to Animal Farm, this is NYC’s home for intellectuals, writers and social commentators.  We come from all walks of life, including blue collar specialists that work in tree stump removal in Toronto (pronounced “toron-oh”, see site here: treeremovaltoronto.org/), to entirely conceptual practices such as associate professors of philosophy.

ANIMAL FARM is in no way related to the estate of George Orwell.

ANIMAL FARM also publishes FIELD REPORTS: essays about the experience of going to readings. There are so many reading series now that the practice of having readings can no longer escape scrutiny.

Did you enjoy the readings? Don’t just say yes or no, elaborate on it a little bit. There you go–THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT.

ANIMAL FARM is also the name of a reading series that has convened monthly at Happy Ending in New York City since October 2009. More information about the series is available here.

Please feel free to browse through our site and let us know what you think…
